Alhambra Class of 1970 Fifty-Year Reunion

Although your reunion has already taken place, we would greatly appreciate your keeping us informed of your current whereabouts. That way we can notify you regarding any upcoming school or reunion events.

We will not sell or share your information with other unauthorized users or third parties.

Greetings AHS Classmates! We have made the difficult and disappointing decision to postpone our 50th reunion to June 25, 2022. We respect and appreciate all the comments/suggestions we have received from many of you. They have run the gamut and expressed a host of different opinions. As volunteers, the job of the reunion committee is to provide a fun and memorable event in a safe and healthy environment for all! We have considered all of your comments, studied the state guidelines, followed the science, worked with the DoubleTree Hotel, consulted with Lynn at Reunion-Specialists (who by the way has ALREADY put in an extra year of work on our event) and we have come to the conclusion that it is in everyone’s best interest to reschedule the reunion to 2022. If you have purchased a ticket, it will rollover to the new date. Remember, this is a ticketless event. Reunion-specialists.com are still handling the arrangements and ticket purchases. Go to their website: http://www.reunion-specialists.com/reunion2.php?reunion=902 for Registration, RSVP List, ticket and biography forms. Links are on the left-hand column & bottom of the webpage. If the new date is already a known conflict for you, please contact a committee member asap before cancelling your ticket. There is a $50 cancellation fee. You can also email us at GoMoors50th@gmail.com. If you have booked your hotel room using our room block code your reservation will automatically be cancelled for you. If however you booked with your Hilton Honors points or through another booking site you will need to cancel your own reservation by September 7, 2021. You can call the DoubleTree Monrovia directly at 626-775-6243. We will share the new room code on our group Facebook page as soon as we get it so that you can rebook your room for the weekend of June 25. They are kindly honoring our original room block rate. You can also call the hotel direct and just ask for the Alhambra High group block rate. If you have booked a flight we also know that this may create some inconvenience for some of you regarding airfare. Please contact one of us directly if that is the case. Think of this as our 52-70-22-52-70 Reunion! The 52nd reunion for the class of ’70 in 2022 for the majority of alumni born in 1952 who will be turning 70 in 2022!!!!! This delay gives you some extra time to buy your tickets, work on your bio page, make musical suggestions and send us fun pictures from your high school days. We look forward to making MOOR great memories, just a few months later than we thought. By then, hopefully masks and social distancing will be a thing of the past. We truly appreciate your understanding. Please take care and stay safe!
